Charlotte “Charly” King is a professional astrologer and author with three years as an associate member of The American Federation of Astrologers.

Born and raised in the UK, she is a proud American citizen, despite pouting about changing her blue hair back to brown because she wanted to be respectable at the interview.

Charly is a science nerd, obsessed with hacking health, prosperity & wellness using a retrospective look at astrological cycles in parallel with those of today. She finished her first book on emotional management in May 2019, (available December 22), while running a horoscope subscription service with daily astrological updates for all signs. Working more with tech developers on dating, wellness, and self-development apps, she has also been using metaphysics to provide algorithms for newcomers in the fin-tech arena and working alongside RNs to investigate health indicators in natal charts. Her favorite areas of astrology have fast become the stock market, health & medicine, and the world's general evolutionary progress.

Charly is the founder of The Horoscope Vault, a new online platform aimed at bringing the benefits of astrology to the public through educational courses and impartial, daily horoscopes.

Most of her time is spent looking at the stars and figuring out the changes that are coming, but in those rare moments when her feet are planted firmly on the ground, she likes to cook, clean, and enjoy the simple aspects of life with her husband and their differently-abled husky, Bean.

It’s time, we have another retrograde to add to the list and the planet in question is…Venus. This planet is always thought to be about love and romance, which is not wrong. But, in ancient astrology Venus also symbolized changes in the economy and the food world too.

So between instances of kissing, matters to do with cash or things revolving around your choice of cuisine, each sign will feel this quite differently.

For Aries, it’s going to be about kissing. But this is more like a review, a little series of flash backs from past relationships that flood your mind this week; you have been warned!

For Taurus this is about cash. Specifically Bills and costs in the home, which could be pleasant if you’re planning a nice move or redecorating. It could be more challenging if something expensive breaks and needs replacing.

For Gemini, this is also cash. An upcoming trip could cost you more than you’d like it to but, it’s to do with big future plans so consider it worth it.

For Cancer, this is about cash AND food. If it’s a case of switching to buying organic or replenishing your pantry with supplemental and all the good stuff then great. If it’s a sudden taste for rosé champagne every day, then costs get out of hand quickly.

For Leo this retrograde is about everything. This week is a personal reset opportunity where you can figure out what is not working for you regarding money, love and health, and vow to make more positive moves creating change in those areas.

For Virgo this is back to money. It’s about the Every day spending, the little costs that quietly add up and have you wondering how did I just spend $50+ dollars without even blinking. This week will have you wondering, where is it all going?

For Libra, this is about not really loving the idea of social situations -at all. The idea of going to a social event could feel like a big heck no, But you might be obligated to go so you suck it up and do the time.

For Scorpio this is about love and work. Along the mines of reaching deep to remind yourself of your passion and love for your job. There’s a lot going on you could feel exhausted with work.

For Sagittarius, this week is expensive travel or costly education. You could be recouping money spent from a trip or similar, saving money to go on one or looking at online education that could improve your finances in the long run but not without an initial price tag upfront first.

For Capricorn this is about debt. It’s Not just the possibility of what you owe, but also what others may owe to you. Hopefully this is someone paying you back if that’s the case or maybe it’s to do with your constant hard work finally paying off.

For Aquarius this is love. Being supportive of someone you care about should be top priority. Consider getting to know your partner or friends  love languages. This may bridge gaps if any exist.

For Pisces this week could involve food with family. A meal spent together turns out to be nicer than expected and way less anxiety inducing, especially if you’re not the one that has to cook it. Sit back and enjoy.
