“Well, we’re on day 7 of isolation and things once unnoticed, have become a glaring reality. The pilling on my sofa cushions, gray hairs that suddenly seem to be growing and Bob’s new obsession with the InstantPot. He ordered one 4 days ago and it arrived yesterday. Today, a box of frozen meat showed up. These are weird times and even weirder than that- simpler times. I understand that there is a worldwide pandemic going on and very complicated decisions are being made by our leaders and medical providers but for the average person, things have been made very simple Stay home and wait. Back in style are puzzles, cooking, cards, playing with animals, home projects, etc.
I’ve started a beauty blog and have spent my days testing out all of the products that I shoved in a drawer waiting to find the time to use them. Bob is learning how to cook which is great- I just wish he wasn’t starting off with Pressure Cooking 101. I asked him to start with scrambled eggs or grilled cheese but he says he’s always wanted to use an InstantPot so I step aside and pray for the best.
Bob has set up a home studio in the sunroom we have in the back of our house. It’s pretty simple: a microphone, a computer, and a ton of outdoor furniture cushions to deaden the echo. It’s amazing what you can do with just a small amount of equipment these days…Broadcasting around the world from a sunroom!”
Love the show no matter where it comes from. I’m laid off at the moment so i can’t get it here at home.😢 Personally only going to the grocery store and up to my 94 year old mothers. Thank God she has a home care giver. 😊
Get Bob started with the Facebook Instant Pot community, it will keep him busy and you all well fed for days! Air fryer will be next.
