About

Sheri Lynch

Sheri Lynch is the force of nature. She is the anchor of The Bob & Sheri Show, heard weekdays on across America. Sheri is a ‘friend’ to her listeners. Not only do her listeners follow her on social media She follows them to engage in true two-way conversations that break down the fourth wall between the host and the audience. In fact, Sheri’s never NOT on social media. Those off-air interactions feed into what’s on the air, and what happens on-air feeds into the off-air connections. It’s a loop that wins her legions of loyal listeners. Sheri pioneered women in lead roles on radio. Her contributions have been recognized with three Gracie Allen Awards, Marconi Nominations and her recent induction into the Radio Hall of Fame.

Bob Lacey

Bob has a history of success, specifically with female audiences. His love of pop culture always gives him something to talk about, and even took him to TV as the correspondent for a leading national entertainment program. When he met Sheri Lynch, he knew right away they would make great radio together. He miraculously convinced management to take a chance on someone with no on-air experience, and the duo skyrocketed. An early champion of equal pay for women, Bob insisted that Sheri’s salary match his. He pressured management, and succeded. Although Bob retired in 2025, his DNA is part of the show, and in homage to Bob, the show will forever be called The Bob & Sheri Show.

Lamar Richardson

Lamar Richardson was born to be a performer. Originally from Hartwell, GA, he studied ventriloquy as a child and performed with his dummy Willie Talk. For over 37 years, Lamar was an employee of Budweiser, rising location manager for the Spartanburg, SC region. While at Budweiser, Lamar stumbled across The Bob & Sheri Show. He was instantly attracted to the intelligent, fun conversations. Soon, Lamar became a regular caller. When Bob & Sheri discovered Lamar was a huge movie fan, we made him the show’s official movie reviewer. The People’s Movie Critic became a regular. Lamar’s dreams of stardom came true in September 2023, when he left Budweiser to join Bob & Sheri full-time. The pride of Hartwell, GA now brings his down-to-earth observations and his great sense of humor, bringing an added dimension to The Bob & Sheri Show.

Max Sweeten

Max Sweeten is still trying to figure out how he got roped into this. When he’s not in the studio with Bob Lacey and Sheri Lynch, Max is an actor and voiceover artist. Maybe you’ve seen his tender, moving performance as the Sears exterminator. Perhaps you’ve heard his disembodied voice at a gas station in the middle of the night, cheerfully extolling the virtues of the two-for-one hot dog deal. Or at a Westfield mall, or a Walgreens. If you’re lucky, you’ve caught him in a play. Max is also a serious hiker, spending as much time as can on the trail.

Kary “Doc” Bowser

Kary Bowser is the definition of socially awkward, but has spent nearly half his life working in radio. His biggest claim to fame is being a superfan of a cheesy Canadian teen drama called Degrassi. When he’s not obsessing over that or working his radio magic behind the scenes, you can find him running around on a softball field.

Heather Furr

Heather is the digital director for the Bob & Sheri Show. She’s spent almost all of her career chasing around the team with a camera. You may see her moderating the Happy Hour’s or hear her voice doing characters on True Weird Stuff. Heather is a North Carolina Native, Western Carolina Graduate and Digital witch! She’s your go-to person for all your tech issues and more.
