Meet Alfonso! 🐾
Alfonso is a 1-year-old Boxer mix who weighs about 60 lbs and is already neutered. This sweet boy is dog-friendly, loves cats, and truly believes every human should be his best friend.
Alfonso may do best with another doggy companion because he loves having friends around. He has zero prey drive, only play drive, and even tries to play bow to cats, who may or may not understand his enthusiasm.
He is also a fantastic car rider. If the window is open, he wants his head out enjoying the ride. If it’s closed, he’ll lay down and relax like the good boy he is.
Alfonso has been through a lot. After leaving the shelter on a staycation that turned into an adoption, he was involved in a heartbreaking domestic violence situation where he tried to protect the woman in the home and suffered a broken femur. Thanks to donations and an amazing foster, Alfonso has had surgery and is recovering with so much love around him.
Through it all, Alfonso has remained loving, loyal, and full of life. He loves humans, dogs, and cats, and he is so ready for the safe, happy home he deserves.

Meet Butterscotch! 🐾
Butterscotch is a 1-year-old female Boxer mix who weighs about 55 lbs. She is crate trained, potty trained, and ready for a foster or forever home.
This sweet girl is currently in boarding and needs a foster to help break her out. Butterscotch is good with older kids and dogs her size, though she still has some playful puppy tendencies. She would do best in a home with no cats, and a fenced yard is preferred.
Butterscotch would make a wonderful companion for an active person or family who enjoys outdoor adventures like walking, running, or hiking. She has a sweet, fun personality and some seriously adorable skills, including rolling onto her side or back at a moment’s notice to show off just how cute she is.
