Charlotte “Charly” King is a professional astrologer and author with three years as an associate member of The American Federation of Astrologers.

Born and raised in the UK, she is a proud American citizen, despite pouting about changing her blue hair back to brown because she wanted to be respectable at the interview.

Charly is a science nerd, obsessed with hacking health, prosperity & wellness using a retrospective look at astrological cycles in parallel with those of today. She finished her first book on emotional management in May 2019, (available December 22), while running a horoscope subscription service with daily astrological updates for all signs. Working more with tech developers on dating, wellness, and self-development apps, she has also been using metaphysics to provide algorithms for newcomers in the fin-tech arena and working alongside RNs to investigate health indicators in natal charts. Her favorite areas of astrology have fast become the stock market, health & medicine, and the world's general evolutionary progress.

Charly is the founder of The Horoscope Vault, a new online platform aimed at bringing the benefits of astrology to the public through educational courses and impartial, daily horoscopes.

Most of her time is spent looking at the stars and figuring out the changes that are coming, but in those rare moments when her feet are planted firmly on the ground, she likes to cook, clean, and enjoy the simple aspects of life with her husband and their differently-abled husky, Bean.

We shift into Virgo season this week which is a little more challenging than usual because on the very same day, Mercury goes retrograde!

A retrograde is when one planet overlaps or is overlapped by another, and the planet that falls behind symbolizes things that may need more effort for the time being. With Mercury, this can be things like communication, memory, logic, and transport. So For anyone traveling this week, be prepared for delays, cancelled flights and roadblocks.

Aries, mix-ups at work could be simply misunderstandings or something like your shifts being chaotic and disorganized. Be prepared to ask for a schedule change. State what you want and don’t be afraid to put pen to paper and put in a formal request.

Taurus, an old flame may reappear and the situation reminds you of how far you have come. This is your reminder to not look, or go back.

Gemini, your home is your sanctuary but it may not fully reflect who you are right now. Get a fresh perspective by rearranging your furniture or just focusing more on your home comfort.

Cancer, your mind is busier than usual. Double check and set reminders for any appointment times you have so that you don’t miss them this week!

Leo, some money you’re expecting could be delayed or messed up. Keep that in mind when planning your week ahead and put some cash aside just in case.

Virgo, the Sun in your sign signals the beginning of your season which indicates a new look or a personal revamp in your life. However Mercury retrograde is ALSO in your sign, which feels like this week, the world gives to you with one hand as it takes from you with the other. The message in this is about identifying where you are and becoming clear about where you want to go, because those thoughts may have become blurred lately.

Libra, this is an excellent week for reflection and alone time, you could feel more drained around other people than ever. Make time to withdraw and recharge.

Scorpio, you’ll want to avoid getting caught up in what people are doing because they don’t make any sense and at the same time cannot be helped. Everywhere you look this week, it may feel like the average human intelligence has taken a plunge. Turn a blind eye and wait for it to pass.

For Sagittarius, this pleasantly hints at improved career opportunities coming in soon for you. Just be cautious to think before you speak because your words may be misinterpreted.

Capricorn, some passionate debates find their way to you because your personal commitment to the truth acts like a magnet for all kinds of misunderstandings. It seems like people battle their own inconsistencies through picking highly charged discussion topics with you this week.

Aquarius, this is the ideal time to find better insurance policies, repayment plans, or credit lenders because one of those letting you down this week could really get on your last nerve.

Pisces, a renegotiation of terms isn’t just for professional matters. Boundaries and requirements in personal relationships change too, and any unspoken agreements like who takes out the trash, who does this and that, or relationship expectations, may undergo revision.
