Charlotte “Charly” King is a professional astrologer and author with three years as an associate member of The American Federation of Astrologers.

Born and raised in the UK, she is a proud American citizen, despite pouting about changing her blue hair back to brown because she wanted to be respectable at the interview.

Charly is a science nerd, obsessed with hacking health, prosperity & wellness using a retrospective look at astrological cycles in parallel with those of today. She finished her first book on emotional management in May 2019, (available December 22), while running a horoscope subscription service with daily astrological updates for all signs. Working more with tech developers on dating, wellness, and self-development apps, she has also been using metaphysics to provide algorithms for newcomers in the fin-tech arena and working alongside RNs to investigate health indicators in natal charts. Her favorite areas of astrology have fast become the stock market, health & medicine, and the world's general evolutionary progress.

Charly is the founder of The Horoscope Vault, a new online platform aimed at bringing the benefits of astrology to the public through educational courses and impartial, daily horoscopes.

Most of her time is spent looking at the stars and figuring out the changes that are coming, but in those rare moments when her feet are planted firmly on the ground, she likes to cook, clean, and enjoy the simple aspects of life with her husband and their differently-abled husky, Bean.

With a Mercury retrograde in Capricorn beginning this week, lasting for the rest of 2023, this it the ultimate time for each sign to reevaluate things, once and for all.

Aries

You could be feeling out of place at work when something happens to highlight the growing distance between you and your colleagues. An uncomfortable situation urges you to search for a fresh professional direction.

Taurus

This week is a chance to re-examine your entire future. Which could turn into a 180° switch up where your goals end up looking completely different now, to what they were just a couple of months ago.

Gemini

A text or a call you receive could be someone asking for a favor and if you already owe them one, it could be a great idea to oblige this week. You’re building good karma, and repaying an old situation. Win win.

Cancer

This is a great week to air any differences of perspective and work on a mutual understanding with someone. If that’s romantic and business then it works very well, but if it’s with in laws or your boss, you may wind up having to bite your tongue.

Leo

This week is not the time to start a new diet. You can still pay attention to your health and focus on your wellbeing, but in terms of making actual changes, plan your fitness revamp ready to start fresh in the new year. Until then, enjoy yourself.

Virgo

A previously buried disagreement could resurface this week which isn’t all bad because it means there’s the potential to fix a situation, once and for all. The biggest challenge is that others may have a hard time understanding your point, or anything you say, so you’ll have to get creative with your words.

Libra

A challenge this week could be in feeling drained whenever you’re surrounded by other people, and even though being in large crowds is not ideal, this might be a time where you cannot avoid it.

Scorpio

This week is a message to back up your computer, to run a virus checker or to generally check your electronics. There’s something buggy going on beneath the surface somewhere in your life and if it’s not in your tech, it could be changes in terms of contracts or someone who made a promise to you that they didn’t keep.

Sagittarius

This week could reveal a desire to buy something that is considered a long term investment, and it requires you to watch yourself for wasteful spending. The holidays aren’t the most convenient time to start a savings pot, so stick to the idea that if it’s not a necessity, then don’t buy it.

Capricorn

Mercury is going retrograde in your sign, and life could feel more up in the air. This is an invitation to avoid trying to solve everything, let everyone else figure it out and instead focus more on you and your physical self. This could include a change in your image, or finding a new challenge to conquer for the fun of it.

Aquarius

This week is all about finding ways to release, recharge, and step away from the outside world with all its simulating things and stuff. Follow your instincts and decline as many social invites as you’re not feeling up to.

Pisces

This week you may need to take some time to discover who you are away from others. Doing too much for people, not getting enough time alone or even a misunderstanding with friends could result in the need for some peace and quiet.
