One of the things in our lives that often gets disorganized and cluttered are things related to our medical health. There are many reasons why some of us “drop the ball” when it comes to our health: one of the reasons may be fear.
When was the last time you booked a physical? If you cannot remember, this part of your life may need some fine tuning. I don’t know many people who like to visit the doctor or the dentist for that matter, but it is very important to keep these appointments up to date so that your body is running well and that there are no concerns in this area of your life. When we fail to keep track of and stay on an up-to-date health track, this part of our life may become cluttered not only with losing track of our medical health, but also with needless worry.

It is a very daunting feeling when we forget the last time we visited the doctor/dentist, and we can spin our wheels trying to figure this out. “Did I see Dr. So-and-so 3 years ago or 5 months ago? Am I due for check-ups?” These are very important appointments to maintain consistent attendance to, even if we have concerns and get worried that when we go they may ‘find something is wrong.’ However, turn that thought around in your head and look at it this way: if something is wrong, don’t you want to find out early enough so that it can be discovered and treated?
Remember, worry and fear are often products of allowing things in our lives to slide, so keeping on top of your health will ultimately lead to not only a happier and healthier life but also, a worry-free and decluttered one! So make those appointments and check your health box!
