Born and raised in the UK, she is a proud American citizen, despite pouting about changing her blue hair back to brown because she wanted to be respectable at the interview.

Charly is a science nerd, obsessed with hacking health, prosperity & wellness using a retrospective look at astrological cycles in parallel with those of today. She finished her first book on emotional management in May 2019, (available December 22), while running a horoscope subscription service with daily astrological updates for all signs. Working more with tech developers on dating, wellness, and self-development apps, she has also been using metaphysics to provide algorithms for newcomers in the fin-tech arena and working alongside RNs to investigate health indicators in natal charts. Her favorite areas of astrology have fast become the stock market, health & medicine, and the world's general evolutionary progress.

Charly is the founder of The Horoscope Vault, a new online platform aimed at bringing the benefits of astrology to the public through educational courses and impartial, daily horoscopes.

Most of her time is spent looking at the stars and figuring out the changes that are coming, but in those rare moments when her feet are planted firmly on the ground, she likes to cook, clean, and enjoy the simple aspects of life with her husband and their differently-abled husky, Bean.

As Saturn begins its annual retrograde in Pisces, it’s a time of reflection and introspection. During this period, we delve into deeper spiritual and emotional realms, reassessing our commitments and responsibilities.

What is a retrograde?

In astrology, a retrograde occurs when a planet appears to move backward in its orbit as seen from Earth. This phenomenon is said to affect how the planets correlating energies manifest in our lives, often prompting introspection and reassessment of related themes.

Saturn retrograding through watery Pisces!

This suggests a period where themes of spirituality, compassion, and emotional boundaries come to the forefront. It’s a time for introspection regarding your spiritual beliefs, how you handle empathy and compassion, and where you may need to set clearer emotional boundaries. Saturn’s influence during retrograde can highlight where you need to confront and resolve deep-seated emotional issues, often urging you to take responsibility for your spiritual and emotional growth. It can come with set backs that are actually offerings, as they prompt you to find solutions you didn’t know you needed. The retrograde begins this week and lasts for 5 months, and here’s what it may begin with for each of the 12 zodiac signs on the wheel.

Aries Horoscope (Born March 21-April 19).

Saturn retrograde encourages you to think about hidden fears. It’s a good time to address unresolved issues. If you don’t do this willingly, these issues might come up unexpectedly. Therefore, expect personal shadows that hold you back to appear, especially when it comes to accepting that something you don’t want to let go of is ending.

Taurus Horoscope (Born April 20-May 20).

The retrograde prompts you to rethink your goals and dreams about friendships. This week, reassess your social circles and the people you spend time with. If you feel disconnected from someone, it’s time to let them go, especially if your good energy is not returned.

Gemini Horoscope (Born May 21-June 20).

Your desire to pursue career goals might lessen due to a shift in priorities and more focus on your private life. Consequently, you might experience a slowdown in your ambitious drive. But this doesn’t mean everything will stop completely. You’ll still need to work and balance your personal life too.

Cancer Horoscope (Born June 21-July 22).

You might find yourself revisiting old interests in education. If there’s something you’ve wanted to learn or a course you wanted to take but it got put aside, now is the time to think about committing to it more seriously.

Leo Horoscope (Born July 23-August 22).

Saturn’s retrograde is about letting go of control, which may be challenging because it’s very Leo to want to control life’s outcomes. However, this week you could face a situation that is out of your control due to someone else exerting their power. The key theme will be finding a way to compromise.

Virgo Horoscope (Born August 23 – September 22).

This week, you’ll be urged to focus on your closest connections. There could be a lot of back and forth over an important issue that was recently overlooked. Meanwhile, make sure to pick your battles wisely. Save your energy and breath, and selectively ignore the unproductive associations. Prioritize only the vital ones.

Libra Horoscope (Born September 23 – October 22).

If you’ve just been going through the motions, then that changes this week. Your daily life begins to feel unbalanced, so you’ll need to refine your approach to handling tasks, work, and health. Additionally, changes in your schedule could serve as a course correction that benefits you greatly. So, go with the flow.

Scorpio Horoscope (Born October 23-November 21).

Recent lessons have been about learning to have fun even during challenging times, which isn’t easy. This week, you benefit from not doing what others ask of you. Instead, assert yourself openly, leave the chores and work to others, and make more room for your own pastimes.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Born November 22-December 21).

Your adventurous nature might make you feel like you need more freedom this week. Yet, the struggle is that family may guilt-trip you into behaving smaller than your big energy and exploring less, restricting you. Therefore, don’t let emotional ties or others’ drama prevent you from living your life to the fullest.

Capricorn Horoscope (Born December 22 – January 19).

You may need to handle an official document or letter filled with misunderstandings this week. As pressure mounts to de-escalate a situation that has become overwhelming, revising paperwork becomes crucial. Alternatively, you may feel the need to be more selective about what you say and to whom.

Aquarius Horoscope (Born January 20 – February 18).

You’ll have lessons on finances and the material world to ponder this week. Additionally, exercise caution in your spending habits. Ensure your choices align with your long-term needs and resist the temptation to indulge impulsive desires with your wallet.

Pisces Horoscope (Born February 19 – March 20).

This week focuses on pure self-improvement, and you’ll be eager for it. Ensure it stems from self-love, where you want the best for yourself, rather than from harsh self-criticism. Be kind and give yourself some grace on this journey called life.
